Philippe Giraudeau studied dance in La Rochelle and made his debut in France before joining the London Contemporary Dance Theatre and Second Stride. In 1988 he won the “London Dance and Performance Award”. He has performed in England as an actor and a dancer at the National Theatre (Skriker and Pericles), the Royal Opera House (Chérubin), the Orange Tree Theatre (Le Bourgeois gentilhomme), the Royal Court Theatre (A Mouthful of Birds), and the I.C.A. Theatre, London (The Princess of Cleves and Secret Gardens).
