Stéphanie d'Oustrac was destined for music and the theater from an early age. William Christie offered her her first roles as a tragedienne. Her repertoire was marked by the Baroque world, with works such as Médée, Didon et Énée, Armide, Alcina, Le Couronnement de Poppée... She soon went on to perform in the French (Carmen, Béatrice et Bénédict, Pelléas et Mélisande, L'Heure espagnole, La Voix humaine, Dialogues des carmélites, Werther, Les Troyens, Mignon...) and Mozart repertoires (La Clémence de Titus, Così fan tutte, Idomeneo, Don Giovanni...). She performs on the major international opera stages, including Opéra national de Paris, La Scala in Milan, Opernhaus in Zurich, La Monnaie in Brussels, Opéra national in Amsterdam, Teatro Real in Madrid, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, as well as at the Aix-en-Provence, Glyndebourne and Salzburg festivals. Recently, she has taken part in productions of Werther in Monte Carlo, Carmen in Strasbourg and Tokyo, Mignon in Liège, La Périchole and L'Heure espagnole at Opéra Comique, La Voix humaine in Glyndebourne, Armide in Dijon and Versailles, Dialogues des carmélites in Munich and Agrippina in Amsterdam.
