This series invites you to follow the rehearsals of emblematic passages from the second act of the ballet The Nutcracker, in Rudolf Nureyev’s version, with Étoile dancers Dorothée Gilbert as Clara and Guillaume Diop as the Prince.

These rehearsals are accompanied by Florence Clerc, Étoile of the Paris Opera Ballet, who performed this ballet alongside Rudolf Nureyev at its creation. She shares here her experience, her memory of the work, her interpretation, and the demanding style characteristic of Nureyev.
