In January 2024, the Paris Opera Ballet company is in full swing as it embarks on a tour to Tokyo. The costumes and sets have to be prepared quickly, and the two classical ballets, Swan Lake and L'Histoire de Manon, have to be rehearsed.

Two young dancers who have just joined the Paris Opera Ballet are dreaming of their first tour, while for the Étoiles Myriam Ould-Braham and Mathieu Ganio, it will be their last before retirement.

No fewer than 180 people will be going to Japan, and this documentary series will follow their entire adventure: from the principal dancers to the stagehands, not forgetting the hairdressers, make-up artists and ballet masters... A journey into the heart of the Paris Opera Ballet company.
