In 1998, Karl Paquette bid farewell to the stage. Dancer and filmmaker Marie-Solenne Boulet was there to capture this pivotal moment on film. Seven years later, he has not given up dancing. Quite the opposite.

Now a teacher at the Paris Opera and the choreographer of My First Ballet, the man who once embodied some of the greatest princes in the repertoire now devotes his experience and passion to passing on his art.

Marie-Solenne meets him again to film this new chapter in his life, dedicated to guiding young dancers and sharing with them the secrets of an art he knows from the inside out.
