Description
Offering artistic and cultural activities to an audience that often has little access to them, O U I RESPECTS the Academy’s mission to pass on skills and expertise. Throughout the season, a series of workshops led by Régine Chopinot will welcome young refugees, individuals learning French as a second language and the socially and economically vulnerable.
Using a combination of dance, words and movement, the project aims to provide tools TO facilitate personal development and human and social fulfillment.
It focuses on orality and movement and fosters an awareness of both the body and language—the language of a shared community as well as the expression of its uniqueness. Taming the body, rediscovering its unity, identifying its place in the surrounding space.
