Inspired by the character of Siddharta, Angelin Preljocaj offered in 2010 a new creation to the Paris Opera Ballet. Aurélie Dupont joined the Paris Opera’s Ballet School in 1983. She attended all its classes and participated in performances and official tours.After entering the Paris Opera’s Corps de Ballet in 1989, she was promoted to “Coryphée” in 1991 and “Sujet” in 1992. The same year, she won the Gold Medal (in the junior category) at the Varna International Ballet Competition. She received the Prix AROP (Association pour le Rayonnement de l’Opéra de Paris) in 1993 and the Prix du Cercle Carpeaux in 1994. After entering the Company, Aurélie Dupont performed in all the major productions from the classical and the contemporary repertoires. She was also cast in solo roles in Pierre Lacotte’s Giselle and La Sylphide, George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, Roland Petit’s world premiere production of Rythme de Valses (1994), Rudolf Nureyev’s La Bayadère, Roland Petit’s Le Loup, Angelin Preljocaj’s Annonciation, Rudolf Nureyev’s The Nutcracker, and Pina Bausch’s The Rite of Spring (“The Chosen One”).Promoted to “Première Danseuse” in 1996, she danced the principal roles in Soir de fête (Léo Staats), Raymonda, Don Quichotte and La Bayadère – three productions by Rudolf Nureyev, Manon (Kenneth MacMillan) and Casanova in Angelin Preljocaj’s world premiere production at the Paris Opera (1998). Étoile dancer Aurélie Dupont made her official farewell to the stage of the Paris Opera on Monday, May18, 2015, after a performance of Kenneth MacMillan’s Manon. In 2001, Aurélie Dupont, received the Prix Benois de la Danse for her interpretation of the roles of Nikiya in La Bayadère (choreographed by Rudolf Nureyev) and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (choreographed by John Neumeier). She is a Chevalier des Arts et Lettres and a member of the Ordre National du Mérite. Appointed by the Paris Opera’s Director Stéphane Lissner on February 4 2016, Aurélie Dupont officially took over as the Paris Opera’s Director of Dance on August 1 2016. She succeeds Benjamin Millepied.

Susanna Mälkki appears regularly with top orchestras throughout Europe and North America, both in symphonic and operatic repertoires. She conducted the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, where she wasChief Conductor from 2016 to 2023 and is now / Directrice musical émérite; Los Angeles Philharmonic, where she was Principal Guest Conductor from 2017 until 2023, Philadelphia Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Symphony, London Symphony Orchestra, the Münchner Philharmoniker, Wiener Symphoniker, Bayerischer Rundfunk and the Berliner Philharmoniker. She also made appearances at Teatro alla Scala Milan, Vienna Staatsoper, New York Metropolitan Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, where she conducted Kaija Saariaho’s Innocence, which she premiered in 2021 at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. Future operatic titles include Le Nozze di Figaro at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, and Fidelio and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, among others. After studying in Munich, Petra Reinhardt worked as an assistant (sets, costumes and stage management) at the Hamburg Staatsoper, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Staatstheater in Stuttgart, the Opéra national du Rhin, the Teatro São Carlos in Lisbon, the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples and many others. She also works for film, television and theater. She designed the costumes for The Secret Marriage, Pollicino and The Barber of Seville at the Cuvilliés Theatre in Munich. She later collaborated with Peter Pabst on costumes for the film Mario und der Zauberer, directed by Klaus Maria Brandauer. She designed the costumes for Werther at the Vienna Staatsoper. Olivier Bériot is costumes designer for series and films, dance and theatre. He designed the costumes of series such as Arsène Lupin (Netflix) and Theodosia (HBO). In the cinema, he has worked with Luc Besson on Anna, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Lucy, Malavita, The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec, The Lady, Arthur and the Invisibles.&nbsp;He created the costumes for movies such as Le Roi danse (Gérard Corbiau), Femme fatale (Brian de Palma), Fanfan la Tulipe (Gérard Krawczyk), Taken (Pierre Morel), Taken 2, Taken 3, The Transporter 3, Colombiana (Olivier Megaton), Hitman (Xavier Gens), Danny the Dog (Louis Leterrier), Luky Luke (James Huth). Dominique Bruguière is a lighting designer for theatre, ballet and opera. Her most outstanding creations have been made in collaboration with major international artists like Robert Carsen, Deborah Warner, Peter Zadek, Jorge Lavelli, Youssef Chahine, Werner Schroeter, Luc Bondy and Patrice Chéreau. She has twice been awarded the Grand Prix de la Critique and the Molière for best lighting designer for the Patrice Chéreau productions of Rêve d’automne (2001) and Phèdre (2003). She also created the lighting for his final production, Elektra, at the Aix Festival. In the domain of dance, she has collaborated with Jean-Claude Gallotta, Karole Armitage, Catherine Diverres, Héla Fattoumi &amp; Éric Lamoureux, Marie-Claude Pietragalla, and Angelin Preljocaj.
