At the end of November 2020, Philippe Jordan conducted The Ring of the Nibelung at the Opéra Bastille and the Auditorium of Radio France, with the Paris Opera Orchestra and Chorus. Recorded by France Musique for broadcast as of December 26th, this cycle was initially intended to be a staged version. Despite all the difficulties caused by the health crisis and the closure of theatres, the unfailing commitment and mutual determination of one and all brought the project to a successful conclusion.
